What is a CUSIP?
If you’ve ever bought a stock, you know that shares of stock typically have a ticker symbol. Instead of a ticker, corporate bonds have a “CUSIP” number.
CUSIP stands for Committee on Uniform Securities Identification Procedures.
This nine-digit number helps your broker find the specific bond you’re looking for.
